i have moved to Abilene, TX. The trip was about 2000 miles. I really like the people out here so far. It is completely different from San Diego people.

I am excited to come home for thanksgiving. I fly home on Wednesday and fly back on Monday. I will be very busy when home but will be glad to be there. I will be out in Burlington for the tradition of going out in B-Town the night before Thanksgiving. Then the rest of the time home will be with the family.

Currently I am sick of living in Hotels. Today is day 13 of being in one. I have been in 5 different hotels in that time and can hardly remember my room number when I get home. Ive been in Lake Tahoe, Reno NV, Blythe CA, Van Dyne TX, and Abilene TX. I can tell from experience that driving across the country 3 times now really makes you realize how small this world is, yet how hard it is for people to uproot and take a chance outside of the town they grew up in.

I decided to change a few things in my life. Have you ever heard the phrase, "When in Rome, do as the Romans?" Well, lets just leave it that I am in Texas.

Happy Birthday Cousin Bridget, Holly Schaal, and Nick Lorvine!
